Spot the Metaphor
The Comic

I recently read in the news that Jack White, best known for his work with The White Stripes, has married some model he met a month or so ago.  Nice one Jack . In celebration of this event, Slopes has expressed his personal views on the holiest of unions.  He just thinks people should know all the facts before they decide to commit.

I’ve received criticism for the last comic.  Some people said that Billy Corgan looks like a prune-faced knobjockey.  I’m pretty sure my caricature captured this, so what are you complaining about?

Others said that it was too long, that it should have been broken into two separate strips.  I agree.  Partly because the continuity would have given Slopes and Sam the veneer of professionalism, but mainly it would have padded out my week a little more, and I wouldn’t have had to draw tonight’s comic for another two days.

Invigorated by the success of his last poem, and inspired by Billy Corgan’s burgeoning career as a not-for-music lyricist, Slopes has also been hard at work producing more prose that he wants to share with the world, in a new feature we’ve decided to call Blinking With Eyes.  It contains no haiku, though.

I know.  I’m as surprised as you are.
