Sweet, delicious prescience
The Comic

So, the new Foo Fighters album.  Sucks.

Now, I can't help but be a fan of Dave Grohl, who seems to have his priorities right.  And nobody can say that they don't enjoy the sentiment of All My Life, even if they dislike the music.  But as Slopes was just saying to me: you tell a song really sucks when you've just been dumped, you're in the thick of real heartbreak, and Times Like These still makes your brain want to evacuate through your anus.

Well, In Your Honor doesn't even suffer from being bad.  It's boring.  It's like getting on the roller coaster, only to discover that it's a toilet.  And there's one of those insipid philosophies for life stuck on the inside of the door.

On the other hand, I've picked up the new Queens of the Stone Age album.  Solid.

Solid the way a turd is solid when it hits the bottom of the bowl with an audible thunk.  You think to yourself "now there's a job well done".  While it may not be the most profound musical experience, it leaves you feeling satisfied.

Rather than go on and strain my eyes any further, I'm going to give you a quick peek behind the curtain.  Only this time its not a wizard with a machine, or a girl spreading her labia, no, it's something far more disappointing.  It's the drawing from which this comic originated, like the zygote deep inside the uterus of my brain.

Hold your fucking applause.
